I will profit around $750 for 3 lots....
If i sell now @ 102.64, can get $500 instant profit for 200 shares i own, who said NCPS is for long term?
Not bad for the $940 per annum interest credited to my POSB a/c on 22 May and 22 November every year. Looking forward to hold as alternative savings & serve only small part of my investment portfolio. Happy investing!
Normally, investors buy preference shares for their higher interest.
Trading activities are limited unless one need the money.

UOB Bk 5.05% NCPS 100 106.000
OCBC Bk 4.5% NCPS 100 103.500
So chances are DBS Bk 4.7% NCPS 100 likely will be open tomorrow with price in between UOB & OCBC.
When applying, good to put in wife and children' name oso.
Better chance of allotment. Anyway, buying preference shares
with higher interest is one form of diversification. Good luck.
Got 3 lots only....

I'm fairly confident all who applied for 1lot would get their 1lots. Everybody would get something. No need ballot, just need to allocate.
