Brokage Rates

I was thinking of the $1.00 commission someone offered recently in ShareJunction that is why I thought you could get very cheap brokerage rates.  Maybe when the SG market drys up owing to too much investors losing money, brokerage firms may say, lets fake them once again with low commsssion to hook them (the investors) again.  History repeats.  It happened before and should happen again. Haha. 

 

Haha I think everyone was shocked as to how low the rates u were getting. It's like pratically free comm ^^

I think end day for your brokerage, it's simple - the more u trade, the lower your comm.

Hi Des_Khor. Just to confirm, 0.028% or 0.28%? Richman and I are probably using the same broker as the brokerage charges are similar but your charge is almost 100% less than ours. For very $10000 you are charged $2.80 only whereas we're charged $28, that's a heck of a difference. Cheers.

 

My dealer can only offer me 0.22.  I am still looking for better rate if other brokerage firm can offer...

Wah Pharoah, tell us what is that brokerage firm. NO CDP means what, no need to pay to CDP for any transaction? Dont tell me this brokerage also sell rice and sugar like in those days people bet on Cap Ji Kee buying illegally from the back door/

Yes.. very advantage for me in out 0.005 or 0.01 profit with stocks below 0.50....

0.0025% exclude GST,clearing and trading fee. I thought most internet rate around 0.0028% -0.0025% and phone rate 0.004%-0.005% ?

 

I think you want to say 0.025 percent, right? That is already awfully cheap being $2.5 commisssion out of a $10K trade..  Most people are paying nearly 0.45 percent which is about $45 (inc gst) per $10K trade with a min charge of $25 plus 7% gst.  Can switch to trade with your brokerage?.
