Ah Kong bought 95% of Minzhong @ 1.12 last month nia.

Now generously giving away at discount to maintain 10% market float.

1st come 1st serve while stock last hor (before price creep back to 1.12).

Apart from fundamental analysis, most of the current shareholders are those who held onto the stock believing that the it is worth more than PT indofood offer price. The recent sell down is probably due to low liquidity of the stock and this in turns causes panic amongst shareholders. Sentiments should picked up once a support is found which is around the current level

 

Actual decrease in profits is actually 20% and not 80% if not for one time expenses of advertising and legal fees. Decrease in earnings is in line with the higher labour and raw material cost across industry. you can see a similar decrease for Yamada Green.  

Valuation at 0.84 is assuming the worst. Without taking into account the growth due to expansion in facilities and the new synergy brought about in indofood. The stock is easily worth $1.10. 

Granted that there might be fraud risk, however in my opinion it is minimal due to the following reasons

1) Temasek and PT indofood has done their due dilligence on CMZ

2) Lin Guo Rong has shown positive signalling over the years 

3) CMZ openly invites analyst to their plants.

4) dividend was given out 

 

Very likely will be delisted, if so, Indo will make the same offer again to don't have not accepted yet.

China Minzhong released 1Q14 results which were below estimates, with net profit at Rmb 48.4m (-89% y/y) and revenue coming in at Rmb 637.8m (+4%).

 

Anyone been to the AGM?

Hey zacaroo, I also bought at around $1.18. My stock broker said if the takeover is successful, they will send another round of letters to offer to buy our shares again. Hence can adopt a wait and see stance first.

 

did everyone take up Indofood's offer? my avg price is 1.18:(

if I decide to take up I just have to fill up the green form right? sorry my first time haha

 

I am contented with what has given to me.... Will leave the profit to the rest.... Huat Arh!!!

SINGAPORE: Calls for financial market regulators to tighten up short selling rules have not fallen on deaf ears.

The Singapore Exchange (SGX) said it will consider carefully the proposal by the Securities Investors Association of Singapore (SIAS).


Responding to a query from Channel NewsAsia, SGX said it " will consider carefully the proposal from SIAS to the Exchange" .
