Transcu Group still in the red, but sees 54% rise in 3Q sales
WRITTEN BY THE EDGE     |
FRIDAY, 11 FEBRUARY 2011 22:08 |
Mainboard-listed Transcu Group, the life sciences company, says it registered 53.7% year-on-year growth in revenue for the three months ended 31 December 2010 (3Q FY2011) to US$2.9 million ($3.7 million), mainly driven by increase in revenue contribution from the Cosmetics business.
Revenue contribution from the Cosmetics business accelerated in 3Q FY2011 after it tied up with a major TV shopping channel in December, which soared to a record of 120% of the monthly average sales.
Despite the reduction of operating expenses by 26.8% to US$6.3 million in 3Q FY2011 compared to US$8.5 million in the last corresponding period, Transcu still recorded a net loss attributable to shareholders of US$2.6 million in 3Q FY2011.

Director share buy-back. Next month if NEFS successful probably will fly to the sky.
Anyone out there kind enough to share their views on the upcoming 'Rights/warrants'. Thanks
lunning... still holding
Was waiting to collect more at 10cts...
More to come, middle to longer term.....
Volume shot up suddenly... good sign ?
Agreed good potential counter. Their audit books still not healthy. However looking at the patterns rights there are holding transcu is gold mine.
Bought a few lots with cash. Not practical using margin for this counter, most likely take a while for upside.
The next reason in my mind are the Japanese running this company. There are very smart marketing people. The price would move up in due course.
My only hope it does not follow the
example of Abterra. With there share consolidation of 25:1. Many who bought at 0.06cents with high volume are screwed. There need to wait for price to hit $1.50 cents to break even.
good investing

Why invest in 'expensive' blue chips when there are potential ''blue chips' one can buy at a discount.... Healthway maybe another multi-bagger in the making, as Laulan says, gotta do it right
suspend trading why, cannot enter to buy...

Good analysis. I am holding on for the rights and warrants. And I will hold on until the price is above my target. Don't ask what is my tp, because the prospect is great, and investing in this can make one rich if you do it right... DO IT RIGHT is the catchword... |

Very rarely do I trade in the short term. I see from the fundamental point first in every case... Transcu and Sunpower to me are potential multi-baggers as long is there are no adverse/unexpected 'problems' down the line. Furthermore with them at $0.10 and $0.19 respectively months ago, risk was at a minimum. I do not have a 'firm analysis' for the moment but I strongly feel they are still 'undervalued' (not referring to P/BV) with great upside potential.....
What I heard previously were rumours but since 18/09, Transcu has already publicly announced their plan

That's right !!! Green systems just like sunpower...Nano is a catalyst indeed, heard rumours that distributors both local and international are already waiting by the side lines and it includes some 'big' names as well.... Take a 2nd look at these companies, I am quite certain they are potential multi-baggers, Lately BB's have already collected a few rounds, Transcu from around 0.10 and Sunpower at around 0.19 to 0.28 (BB's still collecting for Genting as well) . Both companies have lots of patents waiting to be unleashed, look at Sunpower's list of customers and you will be impressed...
Note: S'pore also has its emulsion fuel called S'pore Emulsion Fuel and this is also not a call to buy
