Yes, quite possible and even more. Last year's div was 5cts less tax (net 4cts) and this year is 12cts tax exempt.

I am a long term holder of this stock. I have always found the management to be shrewd businessmen and often makes the right moves. They have also always been generous with their dividents. Through the years, the dividents (incl div in specie) have more than paid for the cost of my stocks....i.e. technically my cost (after div) is zero.

 

hello to those who are holding SP Shares. Today's performance is encouraging both in term of price  + 3.5 cents and volume.  What is the possibility of the performance being a repeat of last August trading around 60 cents?  ......... August being the Dividend's month. 

 

Good for you too, Henry...congrats...things are certainly looking quite positive -- big volume buy up as well.

 

Thanks alot April. Congrats on your rite pick.  Am holding more than 40 lots since the special dividents was announced. And since the day I bought more than a month back, is has been under water until today. 

Hopefully the uptrend will continue ............

 

Hi HenryAng570, Sp Ship will be giving 12cents dividends (3cents final and 9cents special both one-tier tax exempt). Date of payment yet to be confirmed but could be sometimes in August. Chart shows counter turning uptrend. Managed to pick up some at 0.48 and 0.495, now on queue for a bit more at lower prices. Can accumulate when it dips down to 0.52/ 0.515 that is based on today's observation.

 

I don't think its unusally active. The volume traded is just over 1400K today.
