Ying Li International (YINGLI SP, $0.365, BUY, TP $0.50) – Ying Li’s 4Q10 net profit of RMB254.4m exceeded our expectations. The whopping 424% YoY increase came on the heels of a RMB355.1m gain from the fair value revaluation of its investment properties. The positive response to the preview sale of International Financial Centre should help reassure investors that Chongqing’s commercial real estate market is far less affected by the central government’s policies.

ECS Holdings Limited (ECS SP, $0.875, NOT RATED) – Having secured nationwide distribution rights for Apple’s iPhone and iPad in China, ECS looks set to expand its footprint in China. While the distribution business may not be the most attractive model, the company has been delivering consistent revenue and profit growth over the years. With record dividend of 3.6 cents per share declared this year and consensus FY11F PER of only 5.6x, the stock does look quite attractive.
