anyone watch this stock?

if i buy popular shares now, do i get the dividend of SGD 0.01 ONE-TIER TAX?
The CEO brought another 489 lots @$0.29 on 8 Apr 2013.
CEO brought another 1500lots @0.285 recently.
up or down, always keep an eye out for company buybacks on the 2-3 months leading up to release of results, especially when interim results were withheld.
golden rule: when they buyback, you sell yours fast on the up.
This is a basket case company.

Popular is a bit different from Borders.
Many books are wrapped and sealed. Popular doesn't sell canned food, but they sell canned books.

When most stocks went down these few days, this went up without notice. Today went up 2 cents and closed at the high of $0.315.
The result will be out on next Friday.

One thing this one is different from other related business is that they sell textbook. and also doing well in property. And the div is not bad.
I think the recent run up could be due to the industrial site they tender.
unless the whole Singapore primary & secondary education & tuition system undergoes major changes, they'll continue to have gd business... & with 6.9mil people & government trying to push up the birth rates, even more prospects. Rental are part & parcel of any business in the retail/ consumer segment
They also do property, will have good profit from it as the condo price is so high now.

It started to move in the last 2 days, today closed at $0.295, the result will be out this Friday. Something good coming??
the recent share buy back has supported the price, heading towards $0.3, about another 10% more to go.

definitely will not buy this stock. retail in books and stationery. they make $ and most of it go to the landlord.
like borders, for example, most people go there to read books, but few buy them.
think about it.
What happen? poor result expectation?
But hope popular will be popular on the right side.
vested since 16c last year.
