according to some old posts from forumer,,, actually u can apply some more.

what you do is at ATM, enter 'zero' when asked for entitlement,, then enter what additional EXCESS rights you want.

good luck

D 3 local banks r likely d participating bank. But if u cant find them in d online Investment page, then u ought to go for ATM liao.

U may try to go ATM to buy further R, but not likely u can access again. Means your turn deems lapse liao. But u can try CDP, call them first before u go.

Wat a hurry to apply for d R? Do it on d 11 mah, as 12 is d closing date. A lot of things can be happened one, touch wood, another major earth tremor may collapse all buildings at IR????? Or third fatal accident at IR may jeopardise d construction work, n making d delay of inauguration loh. And not likely one Mr Dim do dirty trick again.

Good luck.

EG: if anyone hold say 1,400 right share (1,000 will be sold in 15BR & 400 shr sold in 15CR)

Correction : You may sell all the 1400 rights under the GEN SP R200 counter instead of selling them in 2 different counters. To save brokerage cost.

By this date. Can u when it has oredi started trading, tomorrow is last day to end your whatever decision been made. subscribtion

Start of nil-paid rights trading : 28 Sep 2009 (Mon) 9am (next play)

End of nil-paid rights trading : 06 Oct 2009 (Tue) 5pm (end of play)

teeth53      ( Date: 17-Sep-2009 14:48) Re-Posted:

Just some interesting info for sharing....Ya.

12 Oct
Those holding nil-paid rights have to pay up ($0.80 per share) by this date for subscriber for the allotted rights shares. If you do not wish to subscribe, make sure you sell away your nil-paid rights between 28 Sep and 6 Oct. If you still have them as of this date for whatever reason, do yourself a favour and pay up. Don't become a dumb donkey by keeping all your nil-paid rights and then not subscribing for the rights shares, because the nil-paid rights become worthless after 12 Oct!

28 Sep to 6 Oct Genting_R200 counter will also be set up for trading. For shareholders who do not wish to pay more money ($0.80 per share) to convert his/her nil-paid rights to rights shares, this time either you sell away your nil-paid rights or buy every R200 to topup to 1,000share(1 lot)

yeah i think so too. I sold some of the rights...can i still subscribe the remaining rights that i still have?

Just do it once you will know:

Buying nil paid rights,  or selling nil paid rights, you will need to pay trade commission + clearance fee plus GST

Where buying or selling is concern (it is the same buy. U sell U pay - less commission, less on fee and so). U buy 1000 lots - right issue shares priced at S$800/- per 1000 share.>> U own 1,000 lots or 1,000,000 (million) shares or even all that U can afford to buy up from the open market.  Remember to pay up by Oct 12 B4 17:00:00 (5pm) amount to S$800,000.oo plus commission, plus fee ++ GST and so on. If not it will be worthless after this date, after 12 OCT (Monday).

If it is...then there's no need, no requirement for buying any mother share, not related, no effect on mother share at all and if still do not receive any Gent SP form..pls check ur old address.

Check your CDP by internet, then select / E.statements (holdings) if not call your Remiser https://www1.cdp.com.sg/web33/scdcint/main/logon.do

what do u mean by no brokerage to sell the rights?

pharoah88      ( Date: 05-Oct-2009 16:02) Posted:

It is very much cheaper to SELL your RIGHTS because there is NO BROKEARGE and NO GST on  the S$0.80 per share difference.

You can sell the mother shares during this period, it will not have any impact on your rights shares application as long as you hold to the rights shares.

If you buy 0.28 for 1000 lots of rights shares, you will STILL need to pay the $0.80 for the rights shares application. If not, the 1000 lots of rights shares will be void and be worthless after Oct 12th, 5pm i think?

I suppose when you sell your rights, you've given up your rights to buy genting shares at 80 cents.

if we sell off your entitled nil paid rights,  you are no longer eligible for excess rights application

you can always apply and pay, but they will reject your application and refund you
