Comrade, tea only ah? Market good leh, should hv Carlsberg.

Nonetheless, AK should hv a bottle of Carlsberg later, as I hv repaired d faulty chopper fr one of the stall owner, last nite, though after beer, still can see meter n soldering. Normally, AK resist d offer one, but d uncles n aunties there insisted. But for d very poor folks, AK dun want any return, after any repair work loh.

Be benevolence, at all times. Cheers.

Fully agreed with Zelphon: You should do your trades with the money that in your opinion that you can afford to lose.

If you wish to play contra you need a strong heart to withstand any near term price fluctuations and should be prepared to meet your payment obligations in the short term without having to compromise on your daily living standards. Otherwise, set your sights longer and earmark an amount of money to invest in a company that you see potential in. Like what Peter Lynch says: invest in the company, not it's stock.

Seems like your choice pick of stocks are talked about greatly in the market lately. Perhaps I will like to quote Warren Buffet's trading strategy: Buy when the market has not taken note of the stock and exit slowly once the market hype is going on about the stock.

This is only my point of view and it is not an advice whether to buy/sell so DYODD.

Ultimately we all hope to stand to earn some kopi money and learn more from trading. May this market rally sustain for all. Cheers!

I suggest that you play / invest / speculate with money that you can afford to lose....

Contra is risky also...

If you buy on contra and the stock goes down, do you have the money to pay?

Worse when you short on contra..will kanna fine..

Now the bottom is over and the underlying major trend is BULL...

Just buy and hold with an investment horizon of 2 years..

The returns will definitely beat the interest rate offered by banks..

Ha ha, comrade, u r courageous but must not reckless. Stock contra, thrill but kills, at times. Cautious is d words. AK dun encourage contra neither recommend stock for investment, as not easy to be MFT, I got high blood pressure.

OK, AK 10 rupiah worth:

>Noodles stall, always got long Q, thats noodles worth eating. Volumn.

>D stall making money mthly, be it Ghost Festival, Sell in May or Exit Sep parrot cry. Profit prospect good.

>Impending opening more outlets, at other areas. Cash rich, full of expansion cap.

>Import ingredients px surges, stall still dancing, though less strength. Global market sentiment will direct local market.

>Dun buy sub-standard raw noodles fr less well know retailers. Avoid Catalist, susceptible to sus, as compared to Main Board one.

>Employ trustworthy helper, if not input more than output. Get good n responsible TR, he will help u to lookout for unexpectable situation.

>Dun drain out All saving to open more stalls. Save cash for domestic consumption, say for 6 mths, depending your mthly budget, consult your spouse n children.

Above r AK views for contraians loh. Other sifus may chip in others valuable advices as well. Cheers.

Thank you for all the replies.

Will take note about all those advises.  At the moment, I am holding on Tiong Woon.  Don't know when to let go.  Look at the chart, seem like still can go up.

Whatever happened to risk/rweard ratio? ...... hehehe... Smiley

For contra, you must go for stock that can swing at least 10 cents a day.

This morning I bought Genting 10 lot at 1.10 and sold at 1.12.  Just for the fun of it.

Make $100 only.

Frankly if you don't know and are not sure, don't do it!

My advice is do what you really know best; otherwise, do nothing. Cheers!

Not recommened

For short period of time Swiber, EzionHldg, MediaRing i think will not increase more then 20%--------And it have the possible that it will fall quite a lot--------- and this three stock is quite risky -------- the price is too high.

SoSo

For GoldenAgr : I think it still can earn profit.................But i am not a god so i cannot predict what is going to be .

But the most important is believe in ur ownself....haha.... I only write for fun so only for reference :) wish u good luck

playing contra with the counters you listed....my suggestion is similar with the rest..no point risk your $$. more like a gamble to u.

contra can goes up and down..which will cause u heart attack. unless u have $$ to lose........sometime must prepare for the worst.

my view only~~~
