If  you need face such pressure, ie. income target of A+B, you should hold on to your decision till your financial is more stable.

The ideal is gain financial independent before becoming a full-time trader. Then, you will enjoy the lifestyle freedom and trading (in a year there will always be corrections - just buy during majpr corrections and sell when rebound is strong). Likely, you will make more money with a cool head.

If you are confident if you trade full time, you can make more than if you work AND trade part time, then can consider. You must be able to consistently more that if you work and trade part time i.e work = $A, trade part time = $B. You must be able to make more than $A+$B if you want to trade full time

My point of view on trading to earn a living. It would depends you treat it as a business or avenue of generating constant income.

Trading is like just like all other form of  business the underlying  is about taking risk  business accument. and calculated risk etc etc.

You need to know your stuff well the tools , the knowledge about the market and business acument. Your hunting skill must be there all the time.

My vision is to master the skill required and venture into this challenging market. Infact this area is not a sunset industry. it is evergrowing. unless , the world dont need  this thing called money !!!

Have a good evening and good trading ," it is a bull market out there !!! '

Uncle AK is right... have a Carlesberg... Smiley

Most people play the stock market hoping to make life better for themselves and their family, etc...

But if they don't make it, life is not worth living at all... and they are right to want to end it all.

Let's face it... which person in this land or elsewhere doesn't love money! In fact money is the only reason for their existence, the more the better.

Those who overlook this fact are goondoos who don't see how much money features in reality.

To die is better than to live a life of poverty... this is a very sad fact.

Stock investment is a very risky game, be experienced and vigilant, if wanna pour all your saving into ds game.

Nonetheless, life is previous, whatever it is, dun simply give away, worst bringing along others. D last man n woman suicide saga touched AK.

It is possible RAVIKP, but you must seek out the necessary knowledge first. with the knowledge, you take practice runs (paper trade)... it is not the best becos it is paper, but you get to practice your knowledge. After you have done at least 50 good trades on paper and continue to to learn from it, you can then start to play real money. Keep your position sizing small and be disciplined. Remember you objective - to survive (money mgt) and to learn to be a better trader everyday.

You have to overcome your own psychology. Remember your postion size, and understand the price movements. Some tools you can use are : Swing trading, Position trading and intraday scalping methods...If you want to be a full time trader, you must be good at scalping - it generates income. The use postion and swing trading to build wealth.

Suggest you learn while you are still working. Learn and practice hard...

One day you will make it...like some of us here...

 good luck.

The only way to overcome "fear n greed" is to be unemotional n trade mechanically based on your chart interpretations, "Plan your trade n trade your plan"

If you can overcome fear and greed , I guess you already win half of the game.
