i applied for 9 excess but only get 1.. so "cat"..haha
I applied for 3 lots CCT and 3 lots of excess using CPF. I have got 3 CCT and 2 excess, certainly very lucky for me.
One of my friend have 5 lot of CCTR, he applied 5 Lots of of right + 5 lot of Excess Right.
Result = disappointed he was not even manage to get 1 lot of Excess Right.
The SGX announcement for results of subscription for CCT's rights units was already out this week. There is around 135% subscription rate for the rights units. So, the rights units (including acceptance of provisionally alloted rights units and excess rights applications) were already oversubscribed. Therefore, if one applied for excess rights units, the chance is that one likely will not get the full amount of excess rights units applied for. I applied for their excess rights units and only got part of the amount of excess rights applied for, same case like you.

ehmmm, appld 1 lot, 4 lot excess, get 1 lot more..
Just checked my CDP statement. Have applied for 4200 excess rights. given 200.
Poems will not be able to update you, the number of share you have for CCT after convert from CCTR.
You need to check it at your CDP account and make an edit at your Poems account.
I hope that i answer your question.

In their announcement and the document you received if you are entitled shareholder, the time table tells you the date of new share issue is July 2
Date of trading of new shares July 3. So just check your CDP tomorrow early morning. New shares should be in CDP account before 9am July 3.

CCT rights are worthless. Don't be stupid and pay for the CCT management mistakes of overleveraging.
Hmm, guess i'll wait till the 2nd quarter result is out before i decide. Probably would sell off my holdsing and rights. thanks man.
as China Sports rights is renounceable, so you can either sell off your nil-paid rights during rights trading period, or keep it and exercise , pay for 10 cents and convert to mother shares. Or before it goes ex-rights, sell off your holdings

You can apply through ATM, Bank charge is $2, cheaper than cashier order...
Are you entitled shareholder? If yes, you should have already receive a document ( thick book) plus ARE Form. in the document all the methods of payment are spelled out clearly.
put simply, two method of payment
1. filled up ARE+cashsiers order/banker draft, mail to CDP and reach before their closing date and time
2. by ATM, closing time 930pm.
if yours is CPF investment, then contact agent bank, follow their procedure to pay, closing date is earlier for CPF agent bank..

you mention in point 2. You must pay 0.59 before 24 June, if no payment before this date, the nil-paid rights will become worthless.
Qn) how do I go about paying for this 0.59 before 24Jun? via the usual ATM payment for rights issue?
am I still entitle to the dividend for 1Jan-30Jun09?
can anyone enlighten me? Thanks. |
