Ok looking ahead again
Investors are not likely to buy today as they are worried about the price, thus the funds will continue to buy. We open up followed by a sell down by investors.
If US can close up tonight, we'll gap again tmr, where investors will again rush in and the funds will sell to u.
It's extremely dangerous to buy today as u are only fighting for 1 day, so go for the high beta stocks if u wanna fight
Heading southwards liao. So fast....
Wah ! sweat ah. Mission completed.
Submitted UOB while market opened, but kena rejected twice, later got it at 13.30. Contra it to make kopi $ 25mins later. No greedy. 5 Mins later short the burger and covered it a couples of mins ago. Couldn't stand the pressure.

Tech naked short SPC at 2.10 while market opened, still observing, market soften then buy back loh.
For those smart ones, you would have sold early this morning.
A good time to take a look again would be either this Friday or Monday.
Dead cat rebound, mirage.
While market opens, just pick up either DBS or UOB, by now u will hv kopi $ liao.
AK opine that cash is still the queen!!! Very short term trading is a better option, hit and run loh.
I think it is too early to conclude that the market has rebounded from its bottom.
Good principle to have to be always looking ahead and staying ahead. One thing I'm sure The Fed has not much rates to cut b4 it becomes 0 and Japan is also in 'not-so-good' shape too. Cheers!

Too bad, I have cut with a huge losses on major holding a few months ago. (though I admit myself too late to do so) Now planning of some recovering buying up programme.(I do not think, it help me saving a lot of previous capital losses). Still market turns uptrend is the best for any one's investment objective, I suppose.

Now STI at 1482.88 down from Fri close of 1600.28, a lost of 7.34 percent.
Hongkong was early up quite strongly, but succumbed to profit taking. Now only up 1.35 percent while Nikkei is down 0.95 percent (67 pts)
Are we bottom yet? Can cheers?
No doubt, although not a common believing, but it will be absolutely true! This time technical rebound I won't sell my holding on strength till getting my target of average 25% to 30% gain. I foresee market is bottomed out much sooner than what the market expected!

Let's hope so and i support your projection.....Fully!
Hi Guys,
Saw our market drop to 1488 and this is what the story will be
According to Citigroup 1500 was the floor and we should find some support, thus our index fought hard to hold the 1500 mark and is now only down 90 points, many recovered from the low. With HK rebounding from 11,000 due to the CNA tech report, we should see similar situation in our STI as well.
The funds will use Fed rate cut, US elections as an excuse to push the market up. Next they might try to manu. the USD/JPY rate and the futures market.
Lastly reports will come out saying the market has bottomed and is likely to rebound 12-20% from our recent low.
Likely story ? Seems like a good story to me, let's see if this happens by next week. No hindsight for me as I like to look forward .
