Please help. Accidentally short sold.

Just the number game of S$1000.

a) 9 years of Singtel fixed line subcription.

b) 33 parking fine - Without valid coupon Rule 13

c) 400 packs of econmical rice

d) 66 roast ducks

e) 50 packs of 10kg Mali Dom Rice

f) 3.6 years of Singnet BroadBand 1Mbps plan

g) 666 times of ERP Gantry Passing

h) 1428 cans of Coke Soft Drink.

i) 3333 kWh of electricity

j) 10 months of Utilities Bill

k) 85 months of Cheapest Mobile Plan - 200mins 500SMS  2G

Dun worry, crap happens. Made this mistake before. Just buy back immediately and take a small loss. no issues.

Always always check your trade after you click ok to sell. It just happened to me 2 days ago when I oversold more then I wanted. Luckily it was 4.00pm and called my broker to check if the deal was done. I was advised to buy back back immediately or face penalty. Dun play play with SGX, they get easy kopi$$.

Did you ever fill up a "survey form" to describe about your investment style ?

It is the same form which DBS and others are flipping for the Lehman MiniBond Fiasco.....

Or just some setting issue ?

When you sell, did you get a big Dialog Box about the 1K Kopi Money to SGX if you sell nothing ?

There is no way to short in  iOCBC easily.......I need to add fake portfilio to short.   Trying to sell nothing will be cancelled...

If u shorted on internet trading, u can call your broker to appeal to see if sgx can waive the fine.

or u can quickly go open a sblt a/c and ask your broker to loan u the shares

the second way is the safest
