although there's this saying "sell in May and go away"...it doesn't apply all the time...there was this article recently from CNN Money that analyze why this time may be the reverse and should not sell in May

It's happening ........ FUND Managers all "sell in May and go away" for spring-summer vacations. Shortbros can help them again.

As long as USD continues to slide, oil px will have no other options  but to head north. Maybe there is one option - switch to Euro as the currency of trade! Cheers!

Nothing is impossible! Oil could reached $150. Remember few years ago, one analyst predict oil price will goes toward $100, nobody believe him when during that period,  oil price still fluctuate @ the level of $45-$55.....

So which stocks will benefit from this phenomenon?? SPC??? KeppCorp???Make a guess...........

Actually, i've a different feel about fuel use and price this year... My banking contacts last Jan asked me what's my take of oil price will be at end of 2008... the bankers have average forecast around US$90... which i feel is too optimistic.... i told them could end around US$150.

If my forecast comes true... Air Asia Airlines will be finished 'cause they did not hedge their oil since end of last year.

May, seasonal change, good for US, less dependant on fuel leow. Likewise, if DJ ok we also ok mah. Seems logical, but yet to see the actual outcome leow.

The famous refrain "Sell in May and Go Away" is here again. How true?

Could be true  except China related stocks... S-shares likely to do well in May... personal opinion.

Continue to stick with farming/agriculturals and chemical fibres related sectors, and consumers.

Cheers...
