There is no such a thing as 'safe counter' if it is still in your portfolio. The counters are only 'safe' when they're liquidated.

My opinion is based on my understanding of the history of past financial turmoil. In the old days, it can take up to 2 years to spread from us to europe to asia. However since the financial system is all tied up, i expect the unwinding of trouble to spread into europe and then asia. When more troubles get to the limelight, the ripple spread and everyone start to realize that they are affected.
Today STI will test 3000 resistance but I think it is going to be tough. The many days of up in US suggests I would sell into strength. Would be able to get good bargain towards end of week. People just forget quickly that they were battled just 1 week ago.
Better to be on the safe side for me.

I beg to differ, you are excessive worry about the Europe market perhaps.
Today's breather helped many contra player and it is better to sell into strength. The subprime issue in europe may be of some concern this week after the easter holiday.
