It's getting more scary by the day...

The Dow crumbling so soon only a day after a really big interest rate cut?.. Smiley

In my humble opinion, the Fed rate cut yesterday is like putting a small little handyplast on a severe skull fracture. It isn't going to be enough and the outlook is still bad.

jasonongsc: This is an often spoken phrase but in reality how many ppl can stick to it huh? I admit I try to follow but still emotion get the better of me.

Look at tchoonw shorting of Jiutian into million shares and today it is green color. Did he lose or make or break even?

business times today reminded people that to "buy when everyone is selling" and "sell when everyone is buying" :)

Recovery not very strong for STI

DOW used up bullets and still in RED last night - it should have actually crashed last night

wonder if u guys notice that many brokerage firms...UOB KH, DBS Vickers, CIMB...they have all called for a sell when u see a rally upwards...a chance to sell into strength....ppl might probably be doing tt...only when we see a clearer direction of uptrend...it will be safe then to buy in...

dont dare to calculate the paper loss.....the world is connected, China, India, Europe and US.......but then, growth can be continous....there will be cycle.  It is illogical to expect growth every year.

STI is playing with -600 from dows today. if dows close in green or lost lesser than that we are going to see a big bull tomorrow. Since the market has already been super duper oversold. cheers.

Dont mind i kaypoh..global recession is a reality...ppl say we can depend on China and India..but Do you know China and India depend on US for their export and economic grwoth...their market are too small to support their own...the two consumer market together are worth $1.6 trillion, but the US is worth $9 trillion...if US is in deep trouble ,,no way the world will not be in one as well...so is Europe..

Hope US turnaround fast within 2 quater otherwise we have to sit thro 2008 down...

i think we just got a new term to place emphasis about... "Global Recession"...it was just weeks and months ago ppl were talking about the US recession and that Asian region will be affected slightly only as our fundamentals are still strong and can continue on a stable growth....however now I am starting to see this pair of words together..."Global Recession"...doesn't sound nice...
