Don't know why they didn't test run all these systems during the earlier testing phase.
Perhaps, it is too expensive to run two systems at the same time?

I am glad that Admin and other forum contributors alerted the problem and re-directed to other links -- alleviating escalating frustrations  Smiley.   Thanks, guys!

Of course we could do nothing.... Arrogant right .. if investor wait up to know it for themselves instead of early announcement days before 10 Jan it would not have make themselves so embarassing... No planning is plan to fail. I wonder if such thing will happen in US.

lol. let's give them a break lah. with any electronic system, some initial teething problems can be expected. just as long as they solve it asap, that'll do! :)

yea. sama sama. i locked out all index warrants yest just to be safe. with warrants, one bid can make a lot of dif. esp the speed at which they move. will be avoiding them for the time being. let sgx settle down first. do wish the brokerage houses could give the STI on their sites tho; would make monitoring much easier!

think it's sgx. if they do not permit the brokerage sites to link to it, the brokerage sites can't provide the feed even if they want to?

Yeah! So MUCH preparation for such a LONG period.

Yet the transition is so DISAPPOINTING!

I stop trading index warrants today. What's more, can u image to click refresh to see updated STI Index. No one would be sure that the feed to these sites are REAL TIME....

It is an electronic world that things happen so fast yet we have to reply on this unplanned switch over. Is it the fault of broking house or SGX?//

urgh. i hope it's soon man. you're right; it's very unconducive to have to trade from one site and watch indices from another. actually, i'm wondering if the warrants today were accurate...

Hi All,

It is really disappointing that we go back to good old days where information are not in one place when u trade. Viewing STI Index and other indices from one site, trading the shares from another site. What used to be all in one because two.

I am wondering if SGX really care about investors, their trading needs? Switching to new STI index and cutting data feed is something not WORLD CLASS.

So how long we need to wait to see STI index back on one screen?
