I am always very skeptical of books written and seminars conducted by so called experienced professional trader. If trading is so much more profitable then why bother to take time to write and publish books or even conduct seminars? The only logical reason would be books and seminars give more monies than trading professionally isn't it?

To me a really good trading professional is go about doing his/her trading privately and not announcing to the world to tell ppl how good or how much profits they made every year.  All such time consuming task of write books or conduct seminars should instead be channeled into trading isn't it?

Btw seminars and courses and books can make more guaranteed monies than trading. Until the day seminars and courses and books are free, I am inclined to take the view they are mediocre or maybe slightly above average traders with a few/some successful hits and wanna ride upon those successes to milk monies out of education industry.

My 1 cent view :)

that shows the lack of experience in trading education industry, usually the writer kept some "exciting" stuff or tips which he only reveal in seminars. whether this tips or "exciting" stuff is worth the extra $$$ is up to one to decide.

Usually a experience trading educator wont tell all in just a book or two, will make it into series..

I saw the book at Popular and was wondering about it, too.  Did you read it?  Good/not?

If an expert has written a book, and if you ask him in person certain questions, won't he just repeat what he has expounded in the book/s?

So I simply don't understand it if someone says "he/she hasn't made any headway even after reading many books"... this is a 'mystery' to me... Smiley
