0056 GMT [Dow Jones] Yangzijiang (BS6.SG) may build on yesterday''s gains
following UBS hike in target price to S$2.80 from S$2.43. Broker reiterates
Buy call, raises earnings forecasts to reflect higher margins on more
deliveries, record-high new vessel prices, efficiency improvements. Says,
"we believe Yangzijiang''s timely capacity additions put it in a good
position to capitalize on this shipbuilding boom." Pre-open quotes indicate
buying interest up to S$2.21; stock closed +5.6% at S$2.09 yesterday. (KIG)

YZJ quite bearish today. Will wait till afternoon to decide action. Might have heavy selling in the afternoon, looking at the morning trade.

vested last week....think the stock was oversold last month and strong rebound could be in store in near term.

still counting on the outlook of ship building industry and strong order book.

Thanks elf, yes, I am betting that YZJ is trading at its bottom currently, but unsure if my calculation is right. I will be extremely careful with this counter as you mentioned, very volatile counter. If break 209, I will hold and ride the wave. If not, I will cut as it shows my calculation is wrong. So be nimble lah, people.

I may sound bullish now, but dun get me wrong being bullish now. I may turn to bearish on Monday if the sentiment is not what I expect carried from Friday's trades. Also I am not holding grudge over the dommsayers comments, I am open, please flows in your view. It's good to exchange thoughts and emotion and prevent us from being myopic about our own view.

relax ppl...emotions do not help one in trading. let's focus on the facts, be they TA or FA ones.

FA-wise, yzj is a growth stock. so one can definitely expect high volatility. its high risk, high reward for this counter, make no bones about it.

TA for the short term: maintain that it must break 2.08 for confirmed uptrend (more or less correlates with idesa's count). there is still some distribution going on (large lots selling; not on queue, so its an indication of live playing). so do be careful.

support is at 1.84 or so. idesa is also likely right on saying that it may be bottoming out. but need to be very careful on the macrotrend. will expect this coming week to be more volatile than last week on the market.

not vested.  caveat emptor.

Stock mkt is by nature unpredictable. No one can live to tell what will the share price be trading this coming Monday, or even 1 hours later. So one have to be selective when using the word "WILL" or "SHOULD BE". Clinton and Paperpless are right to say YZJ MIGHT go down on Monday, but please refrain the use of word "SHOULD BE and WILL".

Buy on fear, sell on greed. So the more doomsayers, the better position I will be. I am open to both schools of thoughts.

The reason for me to buy up YZJ, mainly bcos the sentiment is improving, with SSE charged up strongly in mast 15 minutes of trading, DOW in green as well as its FUTURES. Europe is also up with Crude loosing $2.30 to settle below $90.00. RmB is strengthening and YZJ's earning RmB. Earning visibility is up to 2010 with US$5 Billion with earning spiked at 2008.

TA wise, YZJ in oversold zone. However, there are possibilty that it will go into VERY OVERSOLD zone, but the chance is quite slim with the mkt sentiment now, over last Friday. Divergence spotted on the MACD with a possiblity of breaking out of this consolidation period. I am betting that it will break out soon, but not sure when, really hope this coming week to break 2.09. If I am will, I will cut then.

So for all optimistic value investors, can hold till it breaks out. For the doomsayers, Be our guess to SHORT this counter comes Monday. You might be right, but you will not be certain in definite that YZJ "WILL and SHOULD" come down.
