I went through a few of the past analyst report. They mentioned that China demand for natural resources has an impact on Ausgroup revenues and growth. So I suspect that if China is going to start growing progressively from next year onwards, we should see Ausgroup revenue starting to up.. the lao jiao ceo is back, and he might revive the company. so ausgroup might have more or less bottomed and should see upwards movement in a matter of time. don't time there is much to short at this price level.

Whatever happens to ausgroup ... still no news on rto ... Dmg tp 0.24 when to come..chngkay wth r u..?
It is better to stay away from Australia counters.  Talk about double listing of Ausgroup on Aust Exch like big deal.  In the end, what happened?  Same goes for Aussino another Aust chip.  Never trust so much of such foreign dominations in our Exch.  They thought  they can make it big only in our Exch where no other place would want to  accept them. Then list here and collect big time.
If got bullets, this one can buy n keep. Won't go down any further liao
Got RTO story meh?
what happened to ausgroup's rto story?
You can check on their past projects. None from from China. Thailand, yes! but the contract sum was not large.

I am thinking if China economy starts to improve, and consumption increases, will this help pull this stock price up? Not sure if the revenue of Ausgroup is also dependent on China economy.. can anyone comment on this?
Ya... I am stuck myself also
hopeless counters.. stuck long long
Ausgroup earlier this wk, Augroup reported dismal A$15.1m loss in 1Q14 that shaved off 9% of the group?s book value in the quarter itself. Without a gain on asset sales of A$10.4m, the loss would have been even higher at A$25m (15% of book value). The key concern is the non-budgeted costs that have been recurring every quarter from Ausgroup?s contracts in hand, which suggests that its orderbook as a whole is unprofitable. Revenue slowdown sharply (-44% q/q) caused by a weak orderbook as well as Ausgroup?s inability to secure targeted projects. Meanwhile its high labor costs means overheads cannot fall as quickly as revenue. Further,
Ausgroup disclosed it has breached the EBITDA covenants under its banking facility agreements expiring in Jan ?14. The banks involved have formally advised that they ?reserve their rights? with respect to the loans. Management says ?it is currently in the process of reviewing options to replace these facilities?. OSK-DMG notes that the possibility of a cash crunch, while somewhat remote at this juncture, cannot be dismissed. Plagued by a series of problems, OSK-DMG reiterates its Sell rating, cuts TP to $0.24 pegged to 0.67x FY14e book value that is dwindling amid continuing losses.
gone case...another profit guidance.

" The board is optimistic on the future opportunities for the Group?s businesses with specific focus on long-term maintenance contracts that are in the final stages of negotiation. Further details of the Group?s performance will be discussed when the Group announces its Q1 results."

Is this good or bad news?

Dont know is it me or everyone in this counter is having bad luck... I have YHM on trading halt recently only for the price to wack down before zooming back... Don't think Ausgroup will be so lucky

next monday market will determine its direction..
Good News to welcome back Stuart Maxwell Kenny, the previous CEO and MD.
His return will make Auggroup business resume back in black like in year 2008.
The current price will be the bottom as all the bad news already priced in after the bad debts and delay in contracts......
No worry as Stuart Maxwell Kenny will be better for the negotiation of RTO....
