get it from Yahoo Finance... its free!
I need only the weekly HLC&V tables for SGX stocks. Which is the best place to get this for free? Any pointers? Thanks!
If you want to get serious about trading, then you need to get serious about technical analysis. To get serious about technical analysis then you need to pay for some good charting software because you will never get the "full package" from free software or from a broker. I use Market Analyst and it is absolutely brilliant (no I do not work for them!). Go to www.market-analyst.com. You also need to get good quality data, and yes, serious traders also pay for this. I use Norgate data from www.premiumdata.net because I trade Singapore and Australian stocks and also some world indices, all of which are provided by Norgate, but what you want to trade will largely determine what data provider you will use.. None of this stuff is free, but I do not know of a single professional trader (who actually makes money) that doesn't expect to pay for charting software and data - its that simple.. Hope that helps!
hey deerhome, why pay $80 for End of Day data when you can download it free from Yahoo?
For Free Charting Software for SGX Stock, register & download the community version from this company

Happy Charting
For free viewing of charting, jus hv to opening internet trading a/c with who ever securities trading a/c U open with.
Poems also have good free charting for their clients.
ShareJunction has free charting also what. Unless you're looking for super duper professional type of software.
.Most broking houses have charts for their clients (free) on internet trading. I personally use iOCBC and UOB KH but find the former portal to have better features and more comprehensive. You may want to check it out.
Hi, I am newbie, just started exploring metastock for technical analysis.
Besides Scoreboard, any recommendation to subscribe for data ? Would appreciate any comments on the affordability, subscription fee, and usability of any database used. Thanks.
