that is interesting..perhaps different version or other issues such as network traffic within the zone or ISP etc. too complex.


mine is yahoo mail Beta, the latest version installed less than three months ago but my hotmail was installed one year ago and I did not bother to upgrade so it could be the reason..

 

thanks tiandi for your reply...my yahoo email still extremely slow while my hotmail is super fast...hmmm...strange we are experiencing totally different speeds on the two email accounts..

yea..can see lots of people appreciate having the forum on SJ...i just feel it may be good if we can click on individual nicks and communicate to them privately like relaying of emails or 'live' meetings...that's what many other forum websites had 

 

I like SJ's simple format, large screen ( easy to see) and no advert. Chart is fast and simple to use. I really appreciate this free platform and enjoys reading many ideas that keep me learning when I read them.. Thanks a lot SJ.
 

 

sharejunction had did a very good job to bring investors together in this forum for free. They oso provide good information for investment. 

 

My post was not meant as a complaint. It was a observation/statement.

 

we are lucky to have a free forum for investor, those day shareinvestor give free forum and now they want to charge membership fee for your contribution to the forum. I wonder how many people will pay for it, for me no way.

i used both yahoo mail and hotmail. yahoo mail is very fast, i just tried reading some mails with attachment, it load up within one second , very fast... hotmail is a lot slower. perhaps their problem had just been solved?


 

 

no worry cant complain since it is free...though can be quite a hassle..v. long wait to load pages.... :)

 

yep...i experienced it too...hmmm...sorry to sidetrack a bit...but anyone here using Yahoo email and find it extremely laggy and slow since yesterday?

 

Page downloads from SJ has been extremely slow today. Did anyone else have the same problems?

 

Dear Friends,

We had to restart the server multiple times tonight to solve certain bugs in the server. Some of you did not get your EOD emails and the charting facility was partially down since yesterday. The bugs have been resolved and we are now monitoring the situation.
