thks tiandi never know SJ provide this free service. runnig out of SMS alert liao need to "buy"..... don't feel buying it. for me always busy no time catch the up and down. this will help a lot.

for all computer system  better upgrade and change. if not when ppl will get Smiley off and they change on their own, just like shopping and eating don't like the service or food will not come back to buy again.

please don't always use the same old line... due to huge heavy traffic. nowdays tech is faster and higher. they should had tested with volume user and usages volume before purchasing the system don't why still causing it?

anyone here faced this slow problem on other trading house? this will be helpful to all of us here of info which house provide better service. thks

Lets hope POEMS don't go on down time on Monday.

For those using POEMS, better think of an alternative trading platform for Monday if they have to dump their stocks..... Smiley

Let's hope no more problems tommorow. Anyway, I suspect that the market will be subdued. Everyone will be watching everyone else to see who makes the first move....

Reminds me of a goalie... when nothing wrong happens, no one thanks the goalie. But when the opposition scores, its entirely the goalie's fault!! Hahaha..

I guess they keep marketing and get pple use their services...then again...i have encounter so much problem that the system always down. In order for them to get more pple use their services, they should have upgrade their system (stable system) to cater for the amount of pple they plan to have.really sucks!

It is during critical times of market activity that we need to get our orders through expeditiously.

During the breakdown, one can easily lose substantially because one is unable to get our trades through online and also on the phone due to heavy traffic.

It is therefore of topmost importance to ensure equipment can handle all contingencies with adequate redundancy backup, etc.

But in my experience, I find the service of Phillips superb... Smiley

An unfortunate incident indeed. When IT glitches happen, there is no right time for them to happen. Due to the nature of IT systems, they are more likely to fail when there is heavy traffic. So glitches cause maximum irritation to users always.

But strange leh... I have been using Poems for many years already and have no complaints about their service at all except of course for their IT problems once in a while. In fact, I am quite surprised by some of the feedback here about their service level. Maybe I'm lucky to have a generally good broker.

hello prettylisa,

questions is not stupid la..

the answer to your question is YES, when you just do SELL provided your CDP account have already the share that is "free"

but do take note when you do that, you cannot CONTRA!! contra must use THE SAME account, simple logic. the other trading account DOES NOT have  the record.

so you need to MAKE SURE CDP already credit you with the share BEFORE you SELL, you can view your statement easily via CDP internet access. If you do not yet have the access, you can apply for this free service..

hope it helps

Hi all,

I would like to ask a stupid question. If I have more than 1 trading account, can I use account A to sell away shares that I bought using account B?

Due to their gitch, it force me to swallow my order which I withdraw 2 hours ago.

What more, it always happen when there is a market turmoil. They cannot be forgiven at all. It is the most crucial time for all of us to trade and it always let us down at that time.

I am exploring other online trading accounts.

Not only their system is down, their attitude SUCKS big time too. I told abt my unit-trust problem ( half a day funds transfer issue)  and they reply RUDELy and ask me to read the RULE and conditions.. Is that the way to treat client?? I have never owe them or have problem paying them before. and been client with them for a few yrs.

I will transfer all my fund out to another CO for sure... Simply an ARROGANT co who think nothing abt losing client.. Everybody should move out@@
