Sohguanh, according to the punters/bookies, a race horse have 6 pairs of legs. Another 4 comes from trainer, owner, rider and farmer(person who feed the horse). If any one pair of leg refuse to work, the horse cannot win a race. You c now how difficult to win, that's why I can understand why people chose shares instead.

Vol is impt. Especially for playing short and contra.

If the vol is low, you will have difficulty in buying in or selling off at a profit.

Of cos the float also determine how easy it is to contra or short.

Vol is important, thats why SGX will suspend share that has less than 10% free float. For buying and selling you need ppl to buy the shares you throw and vice versa.

unless u r toking abt buying and keeping long term then u need TA,Fundamentals......if juz to buy and sell hoping to make quick bucks...those will be bullshit....its juz like betting on horses...u can hv a powerful dark horse...but if the owner(BBs) doesnt want it to win,u think it'll still be able to?
