ya, with some TA tools for me to use and try.
Thanks, baseerahmed .
rolypoly : Welcome !
I am not sure what u mean by 'desktop trading program' but I guess u mean chart reading with tools.
U can use
(1) the charts in SJ
(2) download community version of chartnexus at www.chartnexus.com
(3) yahoo charts at www.finance.yahoo.com under singapore
(3) if you had signed up with POEMS , they have metastock charts .
Hope the above info is useful .
is there any desktop trading program that read local stocks and let us analyse with TA tools?
All the TA tools used by stock market players are actually more useful in commodities trading, where trading ranges are not restricted by company valuations, and thus these ranges can be extremely wide.
Whereas for stocks, once it has reached 'full valuation' it stops rising there.
I have used fibonacci tools before. For some stocks, the fibonacci ratio applies very well. But there are others that don't really fit into method very well.
I don't think there is a "one size fits all" tool or method for trading.
I heard there are people who use only the Fibonacci tools to trade.
eg. Fibobacci Ratios, Fan Lines, Time Zones, etc...
And they are very satisfied with the Fibonacci methods.
agreed.
Don't think they have it...
anyway, fibonacci techniques cannot be used on its own. You have to combine it with other charts so that they re-affirm one another.
