I wonder does almagamation work the same way for shortist also? Maybe shortist guru nickyng wanna comment? That is buy/sell of SAME counter multiple times in same day will incur one or mulitple brokerage charges?
ok, confirmed. just check amalgamation is = same action, same counter, same day, same mode of payment... dunno need to have same mode of buying or not (telebroker for 1st trade then internet for 2nd trade)...
I trade via uobkh and limtan and multiple trades of the same counter is amalgamated as one contract at the end of the day. For once broker can use cheem english word like amalgamated. English not so good use combined or joined into one lar hahahhaa....
You all got notice some brokers/remisiers ang mo CMI but then very quick in maths and use mouse click hahahaha.... can earn monies skillset leh... no need degree also :P
it either i kena charged wrongly or i remembered wrongly.... anyway, learnt 1 more thing liao.. thanks
i trade through ocbc. i am charge only once even if i buy/sell multiple times the same counter withing the same day. it'll be auto amalgamate....
Hi guys,
Just called my remiser to confirm. He mentioned Amalgamation and for a while I was stunned by the jargon.
Yupz. charges once nia.
wat!! niama, my remisiers charged me (if that scenario will to be apply) twice leh.. can go CASE?? hahahaha.
Hi rouge_trader, I don't think so. I trade through Phillip Securities and they only charged me once.
as long as a trade is done/executed, relevant agent's charges, sgx fees n charges apply, regardless of date, timing, size of trade, counters.. 2 executed buys in a single day on same counter = 2 X normal fees n charges..
That was doubt clearing! Thanks Terence!
It should be the same and it applies to selling the same stock twice a day. However, you will be charged twice if you make a trade with cash and another with cpf.
Sorry for confusing. Wat I meant was to have bought twice a day. Like your example of buying once at 10am then another at 3pm. (Does it apply to the selling as well?)
Do you mean you buy the stock say at 10am, and then buy more at 3pm? Or do you mean you buy and sell the same stock on the same day?
Hi there, anyone using UOB KayHian can kindly advise how KH charges one if one buys or sells the same counter twice within a day.
Do you get charge for agent fees once or twice?
