rayphua, what is the purpose of force-key? "jump queue" or because the "entered bid/offer" too "far" apart from existing call then used force-key? if that the power of force-key, i think sgx must review the usage of force-key liao.. alamak, remisier... then that person had to bear the losses?? power and pain of using force-key..
This is really a sad thing to have happened to anyone. Just think of it as if u are selling your shares at this price, using Force key. Wish he is able to resolve this mess soon.

If you are using ChartNexus Charting Software, you'll be glad that the data "error" has been fixed by the ChartNexus Team, and all you need to do is to manually update it by pressing the download button twice .... :D

RT, heard from my dealer in DMG. His remisier colleague made this error and was spending the entire Friday calling up those investors who bought into DBS at $19 to dismiss their trades, questioned by SGX, and apologizing to DBS. Wouldn't want to be in his position. I don't know how exactly they're gonna deal with this.
rayphua, ask you something.. you posted sitting with 200k losses, where you found this info auh (paiseh, never read papers 1)? then who will be liable for the losses? saw somethin like that person is of a senior position rite? thanks in advance.

He did a "force" for the sale. Poor dude, sitting with 200k+ losses. I don't think he'll be enjoying his weekend.

(1) The broker who made the error
(2) The system that accepted the erroneous trade
I thought the computer system is programmed such that you cannot trade more than 6 price away from the last done price.
Yeah. I saw this in the morning and cannnot believe what I see.
I think different brokers have different story. According to the fellowship's broker, the negligent is reversed. Whatever story lah... makes the days interesting in such a moody market.
my broker told me that the trade was made in error from a broker at DMG. But they have notified SGX and the trade has been cancelled.
