Buy now and keep. Wondering why the counter is showing CD OR CE since it has been approved in the EGM. Very strange. Can anyone check with the SGX .

I believe tomorrow it will blast of irrespective of market conditions. 13 cents approved today at the EGM.
EGM is in 5 Nov 07 at 3.00 p.m. 13 cents for each share but no shares will be cancelled. This is my best stock ever. Already collected 7 cents + 19 cents and hopefully to add this 13 cents to my coffer.
The X-Dividend day for 19 cents was yesterday 18 Sep. The capital reduction exercise needs to be approved by regulators and EGM and will probably be completed in a month or two before shareholders can get the 13 cents.
when is the xd day for 19 cent? or 32cent? thx for answers.
Cougar announced yesterday that it is embarking on a capital reduction exercise and paying back 13 cents per share to shareholders. This will be in addition to the 19 cents distribution shortly to shareholders for selling its subsididary Cougar Holdings to Menlo. So in total shareholders are going to get a payout of 32 cents soon. And this is on top of the 7 cents dividend paid out last month. That is why the share price jumped today.
Cougar Log is not sold to another company la... it has only sold off one of its non-profitable subsidiary.. that is why there is a special interim dividend from this sale la :P
chinchye, if cougar sold to another company and they wanted to delsit it, they have to pay you the 1 lot based on few percentage above market value. If cougar is sold to another company, the company name will be change and your share value still maintain, it is like a reverse take over. hope the above clarify.

Lets say i am holding 1 lot of Cougar. If Cougar is sold to another company.. does it means that Cougar will be delisted from SGX?
If yes, how do they pay back my 1 lot? Based on what price?
If no, Cougar still remain in SGX but managed by a different group of pple?

This in in addition to the earlier div. They have sold their co. Cougar holdings. and they are going to pay out .19cents per share and rest to be used for working requirements. Big BONUS coming on the way.Cheers.
