STI ETF IPOV reflects the actual value of the STI ETF, its only an indicator and I believe you can trade that.

I noticed that there is a STI ETF IPOV. What is that for? Also, how many shares of STI ETF are issued??

Yes Alpha23, but you can buy minimum/incremental of 100 shares (instead of the normal 1000 shares)

interesting that it shot much beyond the index today as I have been trading STI ETF for 6mths now and it never happens! Well, let's see if it can sustain tomorrow. My indicators are all on sell signals now.....

ETF players normally trade on a "forward pricing" system, similar to stock players. If I assume STI will be up tomorrow, what are the things I can buy today - call warrants, components stocks (if they are trading at a discount) and so on. And the STI ETF shot up with only 17k volumes, which is why I does not like to dabble with ETFs, volumes very low.
