Nico Steel sees 35% fall in 1H net profit
Nico Steel Holdings has reported a 34.7% y-o-y increase in revenue to US$26.7 million ($34.2 million) for 1HFY2012, led by demand for the group’s commercial and customised metal alloys.
China remained the key revenue driver for the group, contributing 78.3% of total revenue.
Gross profit margin fell 3.9 percentage points y-o-y to 12.7% as metal prices rose.
Net profit attributable to shareholders of the company declined 35% y-o-y to US$695,000.
The group expects business in 2HFY2012 to be slower due to the uncertainty of the US and Europe economies and the floods in Thailand, the second largest revenue generator.

NICO, this counter has got lot of potential. I am really excited about it, since ther recent deals in China. I am still holding on inspite of losing all my profit.

ahxing, kian ann is rather UP at the moment, looking for fundamental stock with good entry price. Think this counter is a good candidate, but patient will paid off since it just paid out 1 for 4 bonus recently with a good dividend....
I will post when i felt is a good time to enter. I felt the storm wont be over so soon, Keep your fingers cross...
Meanwhile leave this counters and look at kian ann =)

Monitoring at this counter at the moment, do highlight if you think that the time is right, will consider picking up some since the fundamental looks quite good.

Hi senior, I wont be entering so soon. I will wait for the storm to be over. As u can see from this counter, the vol is so low and it will take quite sometime to climb esp in this sentiment mkt. If want to enter, u really got to have patient and long holding power. Now the price is consider oversold, worth buy but i not gg to vest yet.
