eastonbay, understand your good intentions. thank you for suggesting to the SJ admin for the birth of IPO new category. Nobody will accuse u of doing that to gain posting points.

But pls let me explain my situation. Cos for me, I will keep this page on my IE browser and only click the "Refresh" button to reload this particular page only and then. Hence i will not go to the Home Page to see what are the Top 50 new and old threads. Even I do so, it was till 10am plus that I spotted you spotted a new thread under ChinaYuanB (u created ard 9.22am). I agree (and so are everyone) it is best to create a thread under the stock to see the latest price n volume.

so kindly just post a link to lead us there after u create the new thread... or every other forumer if already aware of the new thread, pls update us here...following your call on "I hope people will practice this in future IPOs."

 

Prior to the first trading of any IPO, discussions should be in IPO thread of that relevant counter, simply because SJ usually has not created the topic yet e.g. ChinaYuanBang. It's also allows people to share info prior to IPO like who get it in tikam, grey price etc. Upon listing, as the forum topic becomes available, forumers should bring their discussions to the relevant topic under that particular counter name for reason stated by Rogue_Trader. 

 

I have encouraged forumers to bring their discussion from IPO Yangzijiang to counter Yangzijian on its opening day and people heeded the call, for they see the benefit of doing so (seeing the vol and trading price). So, I thought it is not necessary to do it again. Who knows? someone might just want to accuse me of doing that to gain posting point.

 

I hope people will practice this in future IPOs.

 

I believe everyone here thrive to make SJ a better place. I, too, hate it when some forumers create topic/titles indiscriminately. If someone still have doubt abt my intention, he might want to know that sometime ago, IPO topic was NOT available. Everyone just posts it under "Other". I found that untidy and suggested to SJ Admin to create IPO topic. Hence the birth of IPO topic.

 

Hi forumers/EastonBay, if you have helped to open a new thread on any stock after IPO, pls post a note here to lead us there. thanks! cos sometimes we are unaware and will be chatting under old IPO thread.

O I C, I thought why someone keep creating new titles to confuse which is the latest post to read as you saw from some of the counter with different post but same counter ! hi knightrider, I hope you won't take any offence as I think that forumeer is trying to create a topic under CYB so that pricing & volumes can be shown. If the topic is under IPO, one won't be able to see the volumes and pricing.

 

Someone start another title post on this counter, lets don't response over there ! I don't even want to read it, therefore I hope no offend as I don't know he is, but address as someone !

on 2nd thoughts, it is okie that i didn't got this IPO. i can earn more by putting individend shares. now my galfriend who got the IPO also sian, such a low price to sell off.

 

No momentum and profit taking/shorting taking place, somemore now market sentiment not very good (Selling May), like wat teeth53 said, take some profit and leave some for others..

 

just as what i've said, this share will be flat! sell while u still can,it wont breach 50cents. impending interest rate hike will do no good for property stocks.

 

Bo luct one, no strength. It is going down, but I think it will rebounce later, good luck.

 

Anything beyond 60 cts, a big bonus of 50% in profit, should take profit, take some and leave some for other. Just my personnal opinion...:))

 

zhirong, thanks for replying. cos my galfriend told me she got the IPO during 6.30pm yesterday, and i check my bank ATM... that why i also thought i got the IPO too. anyway, she really got the IPO.  We only apply 1 lot only to try out luck.  

Best to sell off during 1st trading day (or at most within 3rd trading day) to get quick kopi money.

 

will open negative as US market fall !! good luck !

 

like i said,i'm nt v positive abt this stock. i didnt bid for any,but if i were to estimate a price for this stock tml,i wld say in the range of 40-50cents,i dun tink it'll cheong.

 

Thanks joshlai. Cos I dun think holding 2 lots will really yeild much benefit for me. So how many lots did u manage to get? Hmm what price would u recommend me to sell at? Any range? Haha. I know its hard to gauge a new stock.

u can sell ur shares tml.usually the price wld hav peak in the first trading day or the next.subsequently there wun be much fluctuations or differences. unless if u intend to hold them for the growth potential,then by all means hold,if not,it'll be good to profit tml. i myself not feeling v gd abt tis share,furthermore,china gona raise interest rates nxt wk, wld suggest u sell it tml :) just my opinion :)

For DBS, the results will be out at 7pm so I guess they will only return u the $ from 7pm onwards which explains why they haven refund u the $ at 630pm. And yup, I agreed that I am really lucky to get the shares due to my beginner's luck. Guess they pity me and let mehave a chance to monitor and participate in tomorrow's heart pumping action. Any advise for me on what to do with my 2 lots as compared to chimpzzz cos I dun wan to be 'shot' in tomorrow's gunfight.

Can check with teeth53 on how u estimate tomorrow's price will be over 60cents? Or its based on your experience and gut feel which I have none and wish to acumulate.  

 

hey folks, now I am puzzled.

when i got check the ATM at 6.30pm just now, i can only see the balance amount on the ATM machine and the money is not refund to me yet  (didn't have my DBS device in office). So I assume I thought i got the IPO.

Then I came back home now at 8.40pm to check. sad to say, the money is refunded to me as indicated in my DBS internet login.

u mean u folks already know in noon that you got the IPO cos there is no refund in noon? pls check your bank account again to reconfirm.
