Yah! you're right. An oversold stock can become more oversold and remain that way for some time.
I use oversold condition to pay more attention to the stock.
BTW, I've switched to using williams %R instead of RSI because i think W%R is more sensitive to price changes. RSI is slow to change.
RSI < 30% means oversold. But oversold can become more oversold. RSI may drop to 10% before the stock rebounds. The same is true for overbought.
