This counter had been neglected by the investor for quit some time.

Share price of it's ultimate holding coy, KS energy had been surged substantially as compared with this counter. I think the investor should re-look into this counter...... Smiley

Mr. Kris Wiluan has a vested interest in SSH & ATS as well. In addition, there will likely be a merger of KS Energy, SSH and Aqua Terra towards end of this year (Mr Wiluan said this himself during an interview earlier this year).

Does anyone can forecast, if the KS energy,SSH & ATS merger, eventually, what will the share price of ATS ??

My advice to all the contra players, do not base on the analysts to give you the directions.

All you need is to do your homework and hear say hear say any rumours.

Key to learn is buy on rumours sell on news.

What's there to be so excited ?  When market sentiment turns bad and sour, most stocks drop, nothing to do with its "true colour" ....  ;)

Let's take a step back and look at why analysts want you to buy or sell....whichever way you choose, those brokerage firms WILL make money from the transactions you enter into, that's why the reports are out there to help investors make "informed choices" (yeah right). And chances are, others would have read the same report and have already beaten you to sealing the deal, and you end up paying a higher & unjustifiable price for the stock.

I'd go for value investing (which means not listening to the sales pitch these analysts throw out, and do our own homework!), but then again, we all need the masses and their frenzied buying to provide the "grease" for our well lubricated stock exchange...the next time you look at an analyst report, take it with a pinch of salt.......

Are you buying or selling based on analysts's recommendation ? If that is so, you ought to re-think about your investing and trading methodology  ....

We may use analyst's recommendation as a guide and even if they switch here and there, but you have done your own homework and have conviction about the stock you buy, why be affected by their cha-cha dancing every now and then ?

Have faith in your own judgement, my friend ....  :)

KS Energy (20 Apr 2007)

By Carey Wong
Fri, 20 Apr 2007

FOCUS

KS Energy: Latent energy for growth

Summary:
We recommend investors to switch from Aqua-Terra Supply Co. Ltd (ATS) to KS Energy (KSE), which has a 55% stake in ATS. ATS? share price closed at S$0.475 yesterday, which implies 5% upside to our fair value of S$0.50. Our fair value for KSE is S$4.18, which still offers a substantial 38% price upside potential. Also, as Mr. Kris Wiluan?s leading SGX-listed vehicle, KSE stands to benefit outright from several of his initiatives in Indonesia and the Middle East. We expect KSE?s net profit to grow 23% YoY to a record S$62.1m in FY07. This is likely to be driven by higher number of rig and related capital equipment refurbishment contracts that are in force in FY07, and our projection for an 89% YoY jump in net profit for ATS in FY07. We reiterate our BUY rating on KSE. (Chong Wee Lee)

Market Pulse: Aqua-Terra & Eucon (4 May 2007)

FOCUS

Aqua-Terra Supply Co. Ltd: Recharged for acquisition

Summary:
Aqua-Terra (ATS) has recently completed its renounceable 1-for-2 rights share issue to raise S$43.9m net proceeds. The implication is that ATS is likely to swing from a 0.8x net gearing position into a net cash position of more than S$10m. We estimate that ATS will have about S$59m by end 2007 as acquisition war chest for expansion of products line and new complementary capabilities, assuming 0.5x net gearing. Hence, we estimate that ATS? growth-by-acquisition strategy has the potential to add about S$12m to its net profit, assuming full year contributions. We are retaining our projection for 89% YoY growth to S$14.6m net profit in FY07 for the moment. Investors in favor of taking a more direct interest in ATS? prospect are now exposed to about 18% price upside potential to our fair value of S$0.50. Maintain BUY. (Chong Wee Lee)

20 April Recommand switch, on the other hand on 4 May recommand buy........
