I dun like bird watching nor am i a genie nor a poor and fanciful philosopher most importantly, i am not a clown who like to make farnie faces in almost every posts and carry many people's "balls" to be friendly. I dun make my living conning ppl to buy ebooks from me nor do i have to lie about my forex trades, claiming a demo trades as real trades.

I am but just a simple man who is nothing more but just a simple trader who likes Keep It Simple Stupid aka KISS trading style and strategies which WORKS.

1st i like to apologise to threadstarter to hijack this thread for a while..
  • As mentioned abt buying books, good service is impt but we are trading money here, not  leisure reading ,  henceservice is not impt.

You dun learn trading from a ebook seller/trader but from a real trader.

As a trader who makes my living in trading (rather than selling ebooks) i would not recommend any ebooks ipunter sells or recommend.

For those who want to earn money from trading and on the budget i would just recommend just one ebook which works for me.

if you got serious problem following this ebook simple strategy,  one can consider relooking if one can be a good technical analysis trader and if there is anything one can change or remove from one's habits to become a good technical analysis trader or just look at becoming a value investor like Mr Warren than being a technical trader.

This ebook strategy is used by me (slightly tweaked it) as one of my indicator when trading on any vehicles. it is simple and easy to follow and should increase one winning ratio. However, those with already working trading system may have to be more careful abt incorporating it into your system.

Aroon indicator is all you need.
Search for it on google-you can capture 80% of market moves and it takes 10 mins to understand it and it is free.
It is also a lagging indicator-at the moment it gives no buy signal in all major stock markets.

Just to share with all my delight that a little local bookstore in Clementi can provide service as good as Borders, Kinokuniya. I went to Clementi bookstore last Friday enquiring about this very book. They didn't have stock but called the publisher on the spot and placed orders. They informed me that the book will be available this week but on Saturday morning, the bookstore called me to inform me that they received the book from the publisher and that I can collect the book that day. I collected it on Saturday. I guess best of all, it costs only $31.90. $8 cheaper than Kino.

LookandSee, thanks for the info regarding Clementi Bookstore. This is the beauty of knowledge sharing. Also to Burntbadbad for sharing the info on Kinokuniya (in the other thread).

Those interested in this book might want to call Clementi Bookstore soon because I suspect they might have brought in more than the one copy I ordered.

A further note on buying books...

If one is to be active in the stock market for the long haul, and desire to increase one's breath of knowledge, one must have many books.

Furthermore, in my experience, the cost of online shopping can be lower (cheaper) than the process of  buying from bookstores, particularly if one is building one's own valauable library.

Hi hi,

I happened to pass by Kino today & see that the 20% discount is on from 09-12 Mar 07 & this Martin Pring book is still in stock.  U might want to approach some "nice people in the Q" if u do not have the membership card.

Gentle reminder: when i bought the book abt 1 month ago, i was told that it is the 2nd last copy left. Not sure if there is any new stock. So please call up to check first. You may want to ask them prices for other books recommended by our gurus here if that book is out of stock.

The address for Clementi Book Store is:

Blk 450 Clementi Ave 3 #01-297 Singapore 120450
Tel : 6776 6026

You are right, it is somewhere near McDonald at the interchange. The book store closes quite early, around 7 - 7.30 pm, can't remember. If you are going, may want to check the closing time as well.
