UN report on global warming likely to raise profile of alternative fuesls in reducintg carbon emissions - WR Hambrecht

WR Hambrecht notes that much like the recent push by California to reduce carbon emissions, the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Report #4 (due today) will likely help out alternative fuel companies fundamentally in the long run and with additional buzz in the short term. They think the report looks to be establishing a solid scientific foundation for Global Warming driven by human activities. Firm believes there will be more discussions in the U.S. Congress with some legislation likely to pass this year. The firm believes carbon emission trading is coming to the U.S., but they do not see the current White House signing any legislation which imposes mandatory limits; they think it is more likely they will see incentives to use low carbon emission technologies and more funding for new technologies like cellulosic ethanol.

Singaporegal can you please let me know your TA on this counter.

 

I don't know why this counter is not moving, inspite of the market bull run.  Recently I heard that one of the big fund managers had put it in the basket of china Stocks and started a ETF.  SORRY cannot tell you exactly, heard on CNA.  If any one remembers can please throw some light on this news.

 

When will the sun rise again? vested at .65 just two days ago but share prices seems to go lower and lower :(
