SINGAPORE - China Aviation Oil (CAO) , Asia's largest jet fuel trader, said it started commercial operations on Monday of a joint-venture oil storage terminal in South Korea with capacity of 1.3 million cubic metres.

The terminal is part of the company's ambitious plan to expand globally.

The facility was initially expected to be operational by late 2012, but construction was delayed due to rain and cold weather, a CAO spokeswoman said.

She declined to say how many companies had leased or shown interest in the storage facility so far.

CAO: Terminates proposed JV for oil storage terminal at Tanjung Langsat, Johore. Co was initially supposed to invest for 26% in the JV for the construction and operation of an oil storage terminal but the time required for both the concession area and lease was longer than expected. Hence, both JV partners have agreed to discontinue their JV.

CAO: 4Q rev at US$2.1b +31.3% yoy -11.2% qoq with net profit at US$5.7m -43.0% yoy -66.5% qoq. Fall in net profit was attributed to provision of doubtful debt due from MF Global, higher fees and IT expenses. Net profit was also impacted by a fall in associate contributions. Excluding the provision for MF Global losses, net profit would have been US$10.0m relatively unchanged from 4Q2010.

Overall, FY11 rev was up 65.3% at US$9.0b with net profit at $63.4m +15.9% yoy. For FY2011, co recorded a 1.2m ton increase in volume of both supply and trading of jet fuel, with total of 8.4m tons traded.

Dividend of $0.02 declared. Co currently trades at trailing 11.9x P/E for FY11.

CAO 1st quarter, 2011 results is out. Looks good for the stock.

SINGAPORE, 5 May 2011 – China Aviation Oil (Singapore) Corporation Ltd (“CAO”),
the largest purchaser of jet fuel in the Asia Pacific region, today announced a net profit
of US$21.5 million for the first quarter ended 31 March 2011 (“1Q 2011”), up 67% from
the corresponding period last year.

The significant year-on-year increase in net profit for 1Q 2011 was driven by robust
growth in jet fuel supply and trading business and higher profit contributions from
associated companies. Compared to 4Q 2010, 1Q 2011 net profit surged 115%.

hey, it's weird. this evening, had typed twice to explain to you under the CAO title but click post reply. and both didn't appear.

very tired.

simly put it teeth53 gave $2.14, 2.16, 2.18. if cleared 2.18 would go up to 2.24. every price is a challenge.

they are so call about the TP of $3 or mkt con't to be gd for next 2 weeks. if you like to believe, this present price is still good. but dont' anyhow believe in the calls without convincing points given. Shouting is easy but when thing didn't appear the way it was shouted, you were be the one who suffered.

for me, I hear an interview talkig about target price, it gave the most $2.70(no time frame given as usual) bcs Noble is a huge funded commodiites' co, when commodities biz expaneded, there might be a tendency that the talent there make some wrong hedging.

as for the price to enter, depends on how much you what to make and the risk appetite. I don't know if the mkt will con't go be good for the next 2 weeks. so I can't help, may be so sifus can help here.

TA, trend and in flow of fund into here are important factors for this matter too.

good luck

sorry, didnt'notice your posting

I have bn worrying about china counter's acc.

last yr, it's profit/rev(dun rmember well, though is important) was 54mil. it's so fast too quick, other wise a drop from near S$1.60 to $1.25 is  a good buy

secondly, I don't have enough money, buy into Noble

thridly, just heard from the media the jet fuel demand might be affected ard this time.

those vested. great increase.
