Yah... most of the time A/D and Chaikin move in tandem. But when they don't, we got to be more vigilant.

Problem with penny stocks are that they are so volatile. The charts change so fast that not much advance warning is given. So its tough to forecast.

Hi Singaporegal.

Hey thanks! I keep in mind all your advise as well the advise of the other gurus here. The FerroChina chart at one stage was A/C down but Caikin up. Now both down...*Sigh*. But who knows penny stocks could be next inline....(second tier)

Hi Livermore,

If Chaikin is uptrending and A/D is still down, it means that there's a chance the stock could be bottoming out soon. It is not a buy signal but a sign for you to keep a lookout for a potential buy.

Yes, it means that A/D has a chance of going up in the near future. Keep in mind that the primary chart is the A/D and the price chart.

Hi Singaporegal,

What if Chaikin is up and Accumulation/Distribution is down? Does it mean Accumulation?Distribution is going to go up? Thanks.

Good to hear that your profits have improved because of TA. Keep practising and you'll get even better.

Hi rogue_trader,

If you look at the mathematics, the A/D line is all about buying or selling interest. The Chaikin Oscillator is actually a "forecast" of the A/D Line.

If the A/D Line AND the Chaikin are both uptrending, its good news and it reinforces the view that the price will continue to uptrend.

If the A/D Line is uptrending and the Chaikin is downtrending, it means that there is some weakness in the uptrend. Take note that it is not yet a sell signal... but one should be more cautious for this case.

Oh yah, one more thing singaporegal. Thanks a lot for your comments on my TA skills, and I strongly believe that there are a lot more to learn from my side. Hope you and the rest can guide me along, thanks again.

Hi singaporegal or other TA people, hope you all can englighten me on this. Different counters are being "predicted" correctly by indicators like some counters are being "responded" sensitively by A/D Lines, while others are by Chaikin. I had encountered some counters (I cannot remember which ones) that was previously suited to one indicator, but changes to another indicator after some time. So what are the actions/notes to be taken by one if this type of scenario happened? Many thanks in advance.

Hi singaporegal, I must really thank you for your help on my questions and also your posts of TA on various counters as I can compare notes. As for profits wise, very healthy and had increase one more avenue for me in trading as last time I used mixed GA & FA, sometimes using "majority power".

Hi EastonBay, you might be true but I think trading adults like us dun need to be so "bo liao" la. And I think some of us here will/will not agree with her posts. So I think joycetan doesn't really need to use other names lor. Although I was on her "suan" list (I dunno where to get the anwers to my questions), plus her posts a lot of cannon power, overall I still find sense in her posts. My post is not an inducement to start another "war" pls.

Those who come from complicated or unpriviledged backgrounds are often the fighters with the determination to suceed in life.

Conversely, some who come from good backgrounds often take their good fortunes for granted. A good example is the case of the RJC "elitist" blogger.... can't remember her name now.

To leave is to let you stay behind

To wander is to pursue back all the dreams

To linger is because the heart doesn't understand

To anticipate is because tomorrow need love

Anyway, sad to know that you came from a complicated background too, but happy to see that you are very successful. And I believe that one must undergo "ordeals" before one can be very much stronger, and glad that I had been there before. But I am still learning, so hope you or anyone else can guide me along too. Best wishes to you and everyone else.

hm...rogue_trader, never read your self-intros before, but i guess i can relate to that determination and hunger to do well for yourself, coming from a complicated background myself (don't even ask man..).

But hey, never let bitterness or envy get you down, yea? Afterall, if we come from the streets, then, like wildflowers or weeds, we'll survive anywhere, any way. :) So keep positive yea, i believe you'll do well in anything you choose. :)))

Hi rickytan, I strongly believe that you and anyone else who is interested in investing and charts will definitely go much higher. For me, if you had read my "self-intro" posts much earlier on, I actually come from a "not-desirable" family and I had been supporting myself since Primary 6 (including school fees). Which explains why I am very determined to make a name for myself and to have more than enough $$ for myself. So by equipping myself with TA, my chances can increase higher to fulfill my goals. Anyway, wishes you happiness and success always.

Hi zhuge_liang, yours posts very chim as I dunno what is your real intention of your post. Btw, that joycetan is already "out-of-sight" as I never saw her posts liao. FYI, those posts below are me copy and paste one so if you want to write to her, then I think must wait until she "appear" lor. Wishes you a happy new year.

Hi Joycetan,

Posting facts are ok. But posting without verifying and taking it as fact is not. There're people who post one-liners and there're those who post irrelevant messages. We should keep these to the minimum.

iPunter, I think I "overdid" this thread as I think you only want the "argument" part but I think by posting the full story, one can see the picture clearer. Hope this are the posts that you want and wishes you best health & ever properous success.
