Ooh yes.......very interesting subject. The noun Lunatic comes from the word Lunar which is the moon's revolution changes. Studies have shown that at every new moon, human's brains are affected and more people act adversely and become lunatic in their behaviours (thus, will have some effects on te Market too) and the same too with animals, especially the dog family. That's why at this period wolves, foxes, etc...become uneasy and howl or bark at the full moon. Cheers!

Yup I agree totally without reservation. This area of interest is is quite really fascinating.  All  over the world, you can find serious people  approaching the stock market from this point of view.  And it does not just stop at the moon.

But it would be good if our member "newmoon" can offer us an introduction and guided tour of this fascinating topic.

2 US studies have found some correlation between stock price changes and the lunar calendar. They found that investors do get better returns at certain times of the lunar month. In general, they noted that investors get higher returns "during the 15 days of the lunar month closest to the new moon - starting 7 days before it and ending 7 days after".

The topic is something which newmoon is very familiar with. Care to comment?
