hi, does anyone has any opinion on the upcoming rights issue? good or bad for the company ?

 

i was also holding on to 4 lots during ipo times, but bought some more around $0.20 :)

looks like mr Ho recent divest some of his stakes, now drop to abt 50+ % only.

hmm since he is the majority shareholder, and need to take the coy private, he just have an EGM and vote and pay the rest of shareholders  $0.01 right ? 

 

Haha! I kana one lot during its IPO 8-9 yrs back at 46cts(tech bubbles time) and still holding it till today dun know what to do with it except to collect divds every year without fail since the coy is always profitable but profits are declining over the years. 

So its boss Mr Ho(son of Macau casino tycoon - Standley Ho) whom had been accumulating its coy shares over the years(currently own ~70%) knew that Magnetic Head business cannot continue for long thus wanna switch to become a property developer......???

Will continue to kiv and see whether to buy more at times or do nothing and continue to kiv....actually i was hoping that he took the coy private and settle shareholder's woes.

Just to share my though.

USD 0.5ctsUSD div XD 7 May. Till 31 Mar, FY 07 profit 9.962m USD as compared with 06 of 7.861m. Closed at 0.125 as compared to the height at .50 +. Not a popular coy.

1) Proposed diversification of Busainess of the group into property development and investment and

2) Proposed acquisition of all the issued shares of Vigers International properties pte ltd and the Grande properties Limited.

Proposed Redevelopment Property site is 119A, Emerald Hill Road (now by emerald Lodge)

Proposed acquisition sited in Grande building or know as Lucky (Kwun tong) Industrial Building. 398-402 Kwun Tong Rd (fromerly 95 How Ming St), Kwun Tong, Kowloon, HK

Yes, agree with that, the dividend payout for each year is not back but the stock price not much movement. What is the reason for the rise today???

 

Very years, alway give out good dividends. Enuff to cover my capital investment, still vested.
