Yes, 3Q08 results look good.....seems to be reining in ecomomies of scale with increasing store footprint.
Think you are looking at NAV of the previous period (2Q08)....in 3Q08, Co. paid out a ap distr of 13c and interim div of 0.9c....so latest NAV is 24.98c.

Hmm how to interpret this? Price/Book ratio is less than 1 and Aberdeen Asset mgt took 5.55% last week. Looks like it should go up to me.
But why was Price/ Book so low in the first place?
if other sell, buy...lol FJ NAV is 0.39...
dun expect this counter to be exciting, a long term stock to buy & hold...
it will be interesting to see what happens to F J in Sep when F1 commences....tourists come, spend monies; some spend on luxury goods, this may impact the hospitality and the retail sector
cookieguy,
Sorry for the confusion. I was pointing out 2 issues.
1. On 26 Mar, all the trades for FJB were sell down (SD) .....124 lots between 41.0c and 43.5c. Although the price went up, it is not a good sign cos of the SD and the very low vol.
2. In the RTO agreement with JK Tech, SJP committed to some profit guarantee. In a recent news report, SGX expressed concerns over profit guarantees in RTO and said the directors should ascertain if such profit guarantees are achievable and should also address what recourse is available if the profits are not met.
shplayer----> I cannot find Mar 26 papers on what you mention about profit gurantees; what kind of issues need to be thrased out between SJP and JK Tech?
Can share the piece of news?
Thank you :)

yes...its good Peter Lim purchases through market....
The transition to St James Holdings Ltd to be completed and I will look forward to that :)
Techwise, no sign of bottoming out. Another thing to note....all trades on 26 Mar were SD.....although vol was v low.
As for the RTO, read yesterday's papers about profit gurantees.......this may be an issue that needs to be thrashed out between SJP and JK Tech.......which may cause some delay.
It is good to ponder why some one is selling away their share at such a price?
It seems that someone is keeping on distributing..
