Notable growth

It was higher after the semiconductor tester reported that its net profit for the year to July rose 32% yoy to $5.4m, dealers said.



"Consistent with the worldwide semiconductor industry forecast, our core business in burn-in semiconductor chips experienced notable growth. Mobile phones, consumer electronics, automotive systems, personal computers, networking and telecommunications products are driving the increase [in demand] for chips," said Sunright chief executive Sam Lim.



"We believe the growth trend will continue into the new financial year," Lim said.
