woa what happen? Hyflux is shooting up!!!!
Hyflux fell on negative broker comments about the stock.
"Hyflux has broken past the 50 and 100-day moving averages,
signalling that the underlying sentiment is negative at this
juncture," said OCBC analyst Ritesh Menon, who set support levels
at $2.30-$2.36.
CIMB analyst Kerryn Tay said in a note to clients that the firm has "many promising ventures but lacks an execution track record". She kept an "underperform" rating but raised the price target to $2.20 from $2.02.
It reported a 63% fall in full-year profit, citing lower sales in the Middle East, Singapore and China. Net profit was $16.9 million, compared with $46.4 million in the same period a year ago. This was below a full-year consensus net profit forecast of $18.3 million from six analysts polled by Reuters Estimates.
The firm said it received $20.4 million in cash with a capital gain of about $8 million from the 20% divestment in SingSpring.
Hyflux has a strong presence in China, operating plants and offices in more than 25 of China's 31 provinces.
Hyflux trades at 87.3x its forward earnings. The valuation is too rich.
Seems to be on a slow TA downtrend now.
I just know I will go in with full force if it is at price range of 2.10-2.20... it's an expensive baby...

They just announcing completion of their restructuring exercise, related to CitySpring. Nothing spectacular..:(..not vested at moment.

yeah, as last piece of news about temasak with hyflux, it also takes few days to really push the price from 2.30++ to 2.80++ ! It might be the same pushing force this time.. but with our expert TA singaporegal comments on downtrend of this counter, we must be cautious too.. because I respect her analysis. FA+TA+ insider news = "tian xia wu di", ha ha..

moogee, good luck for your counter, I believe it is still very strong, just that I don't intend to keep this stock at the moments, let go all my 10 lots at 2.74... wish you all the best! That's the "FASTEST" earning in my recorda.. bought at 5.03 pm yesterday, and sold at 9.01 am the next day... can I say within 1 minutes of trading time?

moogee, can u imagine, I got 10 lots HYFLUX just now.. walau... before I went for telephone conference call at 4.30 pm, the buy price is 2.73, so, I just queue for fun + 6 bids, lowest can go is 2.67.. so, I queue.. when I reach my desk at 5.03 pm, the price is 2.68, so I think I didn't get it.. but then, the preclose price is 2.67, meaning, I got 10 lots during the preclose of HYFLUX.. walau... I hope tomorrow to let go lei...
