Anyone read his book? I found one interesting fact. In chapter regarding ASEAN economics disasters, he "eyes" on Thailand first. 1997, July 2nd,  thai currency drop to low at USD 1 = THB 32.63 (that's during the second attack). First attack is on March 7th, which made USD 1 = THB 26.70.

The key point I want to bring out is, right now, USD 1 = THB 34.15, not to mention last two months hit the low at USD 1 = THB 32 level, which is exactly in 1997.

USD 1 = THB 44 level (year 2002)

Two things learnt from history, cycle is coming, and it might be good to enter Thai market now ( but this time round a bit tricky due to the political unstable, still unknown ), but the potential swing up is there...

I am seeing the link between the Thai index and the Thai trust funds (which I don't have to monitor so close), 2004, 2005 is India funds plays, 2006 is china funds plays.. But, India funds still give me 30% gain today even I entered at Feb 06, before the correction in June 06... Question, is 2007 a Thai funds play?

Any funds manager can enlighten me on this ? and please propose some good fund linked to Thailand. thanks!
