Swiber Holdings has secured a three year charter contract from BG Exploration and Production India worth US$14 million.

The contract also includes extension options that could potentially bring in an additional US$4.6 million for Swiber.

The move comes amid consolidation in the India market by Swiber through a series of joint ventures.

hikitty, if you are confident of Swiber potential, why bother about those daily traders? There will come a time when they will switch to other plays. It is precisely at this period of weakness that you can pick up more of the shares. Looking it from an +ve angle, it create opportunity for those who aprreciate the diamonds from the dust...

Hi lucky168
The weak holders are the "sickening" daily traders who hope to make a fast buck thru contra play - either contra long or contra short. The support level can hold if there is no forced selling by the contra players when payment is due since there is never an infinite no. of buyers for any share at every level.. Can't they sit still when the mkt is not booming?  Most shares with good fundamentals will move north - it's only a matter of time and the pace (as slow as a tortoise or as fast as a gazelle)

Labroymarine (EPS: 0.06579; PE 27.667) and Swiber (EPS: 0.03700; PE 22.973) are in similar biz..  Labroy's current price is $1.82 vs Swiber's 0.85cents. Will FA specialist advise whether this share is "undervalued" at this point of time since Swiber has good earnings visibility in the years ahead?.
