Who knows what will happen Tomorrow or the Day after. If we know, then we will either be scared or rejoiced unto death.

One won't be much affected if one is always on the ready to promptly jump boat when things begin to look bad. It is holding on that create sthe big losses.

hm, yea actually. a qn here:

the blues appear to have started their run again, without the anticipated correction period first. ie, no retreat of pennies, whole market down. What's this supposed to mean? Pennies next up still?

yep, but for beginners and even old-hands, must always be cautious. rather a live chicken than a dead tiger. haha. :P

One can never really tell...

"All-Time High" can possibly turn out to mean "low" in a few months...

In the stock market, anything is possible... :)

hi nano.invest,  welcome to the SJ forums! :)

If you mean the actual STI index, then it is not possible to buy that, the counter you go into instead is SGX.

if you mean its component stocks, then there's a basket of counters that make up the STI, amongst them your standard blue chips like singtel, and the banks. you can find the list in the newspapers or online, i believe.

if it's technical online brokerage you mean, then hehe sorry, not my area of expertise. :)

a word of caution tho: stocks are at an all time high. so if you're new, try not to get caught up and rush in; likely to get burnt that way. good luck! :)

ST Index to test 3.300 B4 CNY, penny stock will have it fair share in it run esp when sand px of 75% is sort of be pick up by govment, SGX share will contiune it run after it slight correction, so is construction stocks as well as in property related counters like REITs. Tech stocks depend much on DOW and it power to comsume it electronis trade... as well as news from down under..for singtel, *hub share px will be breathing nerer to singtel px, meanwhile M1 will have to do catch up on it share px. Just sharing my tot.

STI up today on good volumes.

This is a good sign but most of the top actives are still penny stocks. Let's see what happens next week.

There could reasons to bring down the market as STI has had a decent run up till now. Nuke testing...Thai Bombing...etc. Whatever it is, this could be an opportunity for those who have not entered the market to start looking for some bargains. A healthy rest before STI cheong again up to CNY. Cheersz!!
