I hope all Sino Env shareholders will attend the Court meeting to be held on 26th Aug 11am at Training room 903, NTUC Centre, One Marina Boulevard to vote against this proposed scheme. It is day light robbery. Take from shareholders to give to creditors.
There are many who bought the share above $2.50 and in 2008 it plunged down 20% in a single day. After that it keep going down till suspended from SGX for the past 2 years.

What you mean no worry. I will only get back 60 shares. It is as good SG$30 (down from SG$40,000).

I think you are making a grave mistake to use CPF to buy penny stocks.
The CPFIA Agent Bank will charge an admin fee based on the number of lots you buy in and not based on the total amount of capital buy in.
There will also be a quarterly maintenance fee charged by the Agent Bank on the number of Lots you are holding.
This fee will eat into your profits significantly should you choose to sell off.
Look to buy counters above $1 with CPF if you are a frequent trader.

I used cpf money to buy. 30,000 at 0.15. Basically lost 4,000..

It is 1 AVIC share for 250 Sino-Env shares.
I am damn angry with the way put to shareholders. Bought 15 lots at $2.59 = $38,372 before the 2008 downturn.
15,000 Sino-Env shares / 250 shares =   60 shares AVIC
At projected S$0.50 AVIC-SG share, = SG$30.
Practically almost $40k gone! Very sad.

but they will convert the sino shares to AVIC ma? so wats the hurry to sell? both ways sure lose money anyway...
Thereafter the SINO-ENV as per statement 2.7 will be delisted???
Is that mean once sino counter opens again, we have to sell fast before it delist?

S$6,000,000 / S$0.5 = 12,000,000 million AVIC shares to be distributed to shareholders. There are 338,932,180 Sino-env issued shares.
==> Every 1000 sino-env shares (1 lot) will get 12,000,000/338,932,180 of AVIC wihch is priced at S$0.50.
So every 1 lots of sio-env = 0.0354 lot of AVIC.
So there is a bro who bot 250lot at 0.08, ==> Cost = 250 x $80 = $20,000.
You will get 250 x 0.0354 = 8.85 kts of AVIS at 50 cents each ==> Worth 8.85 x $500 = about $4,500
Thereafter the SINO-ENV as per statement 2.7 will be delisted.
Usually first day, if it is a bull market, you should be able to sell at more than 50 cents, say 60 cents. So in the end you get back about $5500.
I would say that is a 1/4 of your original investment at 8 cents.
Sino-Environment has some $14 million with the Shanghai branch of Xiamen International Bank which it is trying to repatriate back to a Singapore bank account.
how much of this can be recover and paid shareholder is ??/
Of course is good news lah... someone willing to take over the company and at least it can trade trading soon...some debt can at least be settle by new offering maye...

O.O Is that true!!! If the reverse take over is true... there will be hope and the stock price might soar as AVIC main focus is ship trading and shipbuilding....
any idea how they calculate how much placement shares they will distribute to each shareholder?
