Instead of making new high , Sim Lian had only gone up to 92 cents . It retreated very fast to 72 cents recently with a falling gap . It may take some time to fill this gap .

Property counter Sim Lian Group had formed a monthly hammer at the bottom in March 2009 at 15 cents   . It went all the way up to 54.5 cents in the medium term in Oct 2010 . Coming down slowly for a correction  which had lasted for 15 months to 40 cents   till Feb 2012 . From there it went uptrend again . All these movements were in a long trend upward   channel until recently it broke this channel n surged with heavy volume in Sep 2012 . And with the strong   momentum , it would to test new high at 99 cents .

Sim Lian Group Limited  announced the award of a contract by an interested person. Sim Lian JV (Punggol Central) Pte Ltd has awarded a cost-plus contract to Sim Lian Construction Co. (Pte.) Ltd, which is worth an estimated contract sum of $224mn and is expected to be completed in April 2014.

Sim Lian Group Limited announced that Sim Lian Land Pte Ltd (“SLLand”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, has submitted a joint tender with Sim Lian Development Pte Ltd (“SLD”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sim Lian Holdings Pte Ltd for land parcel at Punggol Central / Punggol Walk for Condominium Housing Development (“Joint Tender”). The Joint Tender emerged as the top bid with a tender price of $363,000,000. If the Joint Tender is successful, it is likely to build approximately 800 units on the site. The units will be a range of two to four bedroom apartments and penthouses, the project is expected to launch in 4Q2011.

said it will launch its 99-year leasehold Waterview condo at Bedok Reservoir on Friday, November 19. The group said it will offer half or 348 units in the 696-unit project at an average price of $838 per square foot. The 15-storey development comprises two- to four-bedroom apartments as well as six-bedroom penthouses. Waterview is located at the corner of Tampines Avenue 1/10.

This company have a long history and it is one of the few property counter with construction ability.
FA wise, it brings one of best ROE/PTB ratio and PE ratio among the peers....with decent div.
With AMK condo setting record setting price, i'm sure Bishan will even do better.
Is this counter / company a good buy to keep ?
I mean compared to Capital Land - this looks really really small
what are their strengths and strategy ?

The authorised share capital of PSLGK is RM500,000.00 divided into 500,000 ordinary shares of
