SembCorp Industries (April 3: $4.24)
MAINTAIN BUY
agreement with Zhangbao Industries to build,
own and operate (BOO) an industrial water recycling
facility in the Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone in Jiangsu
Province, China. SCI will hold an 80% stake in Zhangjiagang
Free Trade Zone Sembcorp Water Recycling Co, with the
remaining 20% under Zhangbao, an investment arm of
the Zhangjiagang city government. Investment cost is
estimated at $22.4 million. Our forecast for this year and
FY2009 remain unchanged, fair value is $5.82. At the
closing price of $4.10, there is a 42% upside to our fair
value. Stock is also trading cum dividend, which is 3.7%
for FY2007 and projected to rise to 3.9% for the current
year.

An evolving exchange. Singapore Exchange (SGX) has successfully
transformed itself over the past few years, and is now enjoying earnings
contributions from three key segments: Securities Market, Derivatives Market
and Stable Revenue. In recent years, it has also seen good contribution from
Structured Warrants, which saw unprecedented trading value of S$18.8 billion
in FY07, up 49% YoY. SGX has unceasingly introduced new products and
initiatives including Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), Exchange Trade
Funds (ETFs), Shipping Trusts, etc. While market volume on the Securities
Market has come off since Jan 2008, we believe that its overall performance
will not be similarly affected as Derivatives and other products continued to
see brisk activities as shown by the recent strong 3QFY08 results

to be focusing more on interest margins in the
aftermath of the current credit crisis.

We are aware of this problem. We are still investigating it.
This occurs mostly when people cut and paste from certain websites that contain unfortunately special hidden characters. It conflicts with our backend systems and the post is not saved. It would help us get to the root of the problem if you send us an email with URL of the webpage that has this problem.

Hi admin,
Recently, after I posted long messages, I noticed that they don't appear. Even though, "Your message has been posted successfully. Return." appears after I posted. And when I look at the list of threads, it shows that the number of replies has increased by one.
Is this a bug? Or is there a word limit. If that's the case, I think SJ should show a popup window displaying the message that the character limit is xxxx. We can click ok and then it will return to the "post message" screen for us to edit.
Anybody else experience this problem? Pls resolve this problem asap. Thanks!
