loyfam88,

i did not read the announcement earlier before posting.. as you asked about tax rate I went into SGX website to read Chip Eng Seng's report and copy out the dividend and attached as below in BOLD

the dividends for both were Tax exempt , thus for 10000 shares you expect to get $175 nett.

Hope this helps.

Dividend Amount per Share (in cents)
First & Final
0.75 cent per ordinary share
Tax exempt (one-tier tax)
1.00 cent per ordinary share
Tax exempt (one-tier tax)

yes shareholder holding upto Ex-date will get both dividend.

yes, 0.0075 x 10,000= $75.

however you need to remember also your net dividend is equal to Dividend Less TAX.

Can someone pls shed light on how to compute dividend.

Eg in CES, they have first & final and special dividend, does that mean shareholder is entitled to both?

if it is 0.75cent per share. How does that work out to be if I hold 10 lots? S$75?
