Why create another thread for a stock when there are existing threads? Worse - create under "General - Others". When you want to search for something, isn't it easier if it's in a single thread rather than all over the place?

Before you ask a question, pls search whether it has already been answered before posting. I'm sure forummers don't like to answer the same question 3, 4 or more times.

Halo Manikam...ko, I've a different view................the Stcok Market is a place for you to seize an opportunity and take advantage of it (if you see one). Greedy...yes...a bit lah! If not, then why I want to take the risks in the Market and try to make more money! But, don't be too greedy lah......hit your 'simple'  target and move on! Only Fools die!

You're rite on the market is many things to many people and it is a dangerous place to be in! Cheers!

Snoothie... :)

To me, there's no such thing as "greedy" people in the stock market.
Strictly speaking, if one wants to use that word, everyone would be greedy!

Rather, it boils down to money management skills.

The stock market can be many things to mant people... casino, investment opportunity,
fun carnival, ruthless beastly monster....etc...

Yes, it can be all these things, depending on what you treat it as... Smiley

Not a good idea to remove old threads... all the past knowledge might be lost. I sometimes refer back to the old posts to check the history of discussion.

Too much restrictions will not be good for the Forum ...........just like Singapore before. No restriction will be difficult to control. I'm sure we're all grown-ups and should be responsible for anythings and everythings we do. No one would like to be controlled and at the same time freedom must always come with responsibility without which is not freedom!Of course, in any society there'll always be the good, the bad and the ugly. What is power without control?

Therefore, just one word 'be responsible' ....or may be 2 words. Cheers!

Those who want to know what being a trader really means should read the best book
available on the subject...

HOW I TRADE FORE A LIVING
By Gary Smith

This is a no-nonsense account of how he became a 'battle-worn' trader....

Strictly for serious traders only... forget all other 'trading' books ... Smiley

hi Admin, I have a suggestion, to create a permanent thread or sticky or space for admin announcements and reminders like this. This thread may get pushed backwards and buried after some time when other hotter threads got read and replied. This will ensure important announcements or reminders are constantly read by all old or newer forumners. Jus my 2cts thoughts.

haha Bensonho,

i'd like to nominate u for moderator.

And yes thanks for warning fellow forumers of "solicitors".

I hope this forum do not degenerate, into a "gambling den".

Many pple aspire to be traders in times like this (includes myself) but does not know what exactly being a trader means.

Its so easy to loose money if you are not careful.

i came across one thread before where one forumer expect TA forumers to do ALL the TA analysis for his 10 to 20 stocks at a go, n he sound very rude in the thread. That is ridiculous. hopefully this kind of thing will not happen again.
